Hodge Compressor designs and engineers the Hodge line of rotary screw air compressors and refrigerated air dryers in Hoschton, Georgia, and sells it nationally through a network of authorized distributors. Most of the information we handle comes from a buyer or plant team asking for a quote, an engineer with a question about a system, or a distributor signing in to the Distributor Portal.
This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your personal information.

Hodge Compressor is the manufacturer behind the Hodge equipment line. Our equipment is sold and serviced through a network of authorized distributors, including our sister companies.
In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Hodge Compressor. “You” means anyone who visits this website, contacts us, requests a quote, or uses the Distributor Portal.
Information you give us
You give us information directly when you:
- Request a quote
- Send us a message through the contact form
- Email us about sales, technical questions, warranty, or maintenance support
- Request access to the Distributor Portal or sign in to it
The quote and contact forms ask for your name, email address, phone number, and company name, plus whatever you tell us about your application, your equipment, or your project. A Distributor Portal request asks for the information we need to set up and manage your account.
You choose what to send. If you leave something out, we may not be able to match you with the right distributor or give you an accurate answer.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit hodgecompressor.com, our website and the services that support it may collect:
- Your IP address and general location, meaning the city or region, not a street address
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and what you clicked
- The site or search that sent you here
This is standard web analytics. We use it to understand which pages are useful and where the site is failing people.
Some images and fonts on the site are delivered by outside services. Those services receive your IP address and browser details when they send that content to your device.
Distributor Portal accounts
The Distributor Portal gives our authorized distributors access to product files and other materials. When you request access, our accounts team reviews the request before the account is turned on.
A portal account holds your login details, the contact and company information you gave us when you requested access, and a record of when you sign in. Signing in sets cookies that keep you logged in while you use the portal.
You can update your account details after you sign in, or email us and we will update them for you. If you no longer need access, ask us to close the account.
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.
Why we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Answer your question and quote your equipment
- Pass your request to the right distributor so they can quote, deliver, install, or service your equipment
- Set up and manage Distributor Portal accounts and share product files with our distributors
- Handle warranty and maintenance questions, including Forever Warranty coverage
- Improve the website and understand which pages are working
- Meet legal, tax, warranty, and safety obligations
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell it.
Who we share your information with
We share information in four situations:
Our distributors and sister companies. Hodge equipment is sold and serviced through our distributor network. When you request a quote or ask about service, we pass along what is needed to the distributor or sister company best placed to help you, usually the one closest to your site, so they can contact you. Email sent to our info@ address is routed through shared company systems.
Service providers. Companies that run things on our behalf: website hosting, image and font delivery, email, analytics, CRM, and accounting. They get only what they need to do their job and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
When the law requires it. If we receive a valid legal request, or need to protect our rights, our people, or someone’s safety.
In a business transfer. If the business is ever sold or merged, customer information would transfer with it. Any buyer would be bound by this policy for information collected under it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Cookies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, keep Distributor Portal users signed in, remember your preferences, and measure traffic.

How long we keep your information
We keep quote requests, correspondence, and warranty records for as long as we have a business relationship with you, and after that for as long as we need them for warranty, tax, and legal purposes. Equipment and warranty history is worth keeping: it lets us and your distributor help with a problem without starting over.
Distributor Portal account information is kept while the account is open. Marketing contact information, if we ever hold it, is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can:
- Ask what we have. Email info@hodgecompressor.com and we will tell you what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it. We will do it unless we are required to keep it for warranty, tax, or legal reasons, and we will tell you if that is the case.
- Update or close your portal account. Sign in to update your details, or email us to close the account.
- Unsubscribe from email. If you ever receive marketing email from us, every message has an unsubscribe link.
- Control cookies through your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, including the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as payment card numbers or account credentials through the website forms or by email.
Children
This website is for businesses, plant teams, and distributors. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to our pages on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and to other outside resources. Once you follow a link off hodgecompressor.com, this policy no longer applies. Read the privacy policy of whatever site you land on.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top tells you when it last changed. If we make a significant change to how we handle your information, we will say so on the page rather than quietly editing it.
